What is the Omega Vector?
The organization was created to teach the art of Self-Knowledge. The core program is a three-day event that is led by a veteran staff of graduates. Omega Vector also provides drop-in workshops, advanced programs, self-guided learning opportunities, and more.
What are the programs like?
From start to finish, the Omega classroom is lively and experiential. There is very little lecture, and not a moment is wasted. You can expect a blend of instruction, activities, and inspiration meant to tap into the physical, emotional, and mental aspects of the human psyche.
What are the hours?
The basic Omega program, Omega I, lasts three days over the course of one weekend.
The classroom opens:
- Friday at 6:30 p.m.
- Saturday at 9 a.m.
- Sunday at 9 a.m.
Closing times vary with each group. A full program may take up to 30 hours.
Will it work for me?
The techniques are simple, engaging, and designed to reach a broad audience. Education and personal backgrounds aside, anyone who is an active participant is sure to take away new skills and tap into the powers that lie dormant within each and every one of us.
How soon can I expect results?
Results begin within the first hour! And you’ll continue to discover more about yourself—more than you’ve ever known—in every hour of the program. The rate of progress is up to you, but you will certainly leave Omega with enough tools to last a lifetime.
Is this a one-time experience?
The three-day Omega I program will teach you all the basics for living a successful life. You may choose to take the program again in the future, or you may move on to the Omega II and Omega IV advanced programs.
How much does it cost?
Nothing! All of our programs are free* of charge, including class materials and workbooks. There are no tricks or hidden costs. We can do this because our expert facilitators and dedicated team members donate their time in service to the Omega co-op. The program changed their lives, and they want to help others live a more effective life as well. This philosophy and process has been successful for more than four decades, and we couldn’t do this important work without our volunteers!
Who can become a volunteer?
Anyone who has completed an Omega program is eligible to become a volunteer. However, it is a highly selective process and can take as long as eight years to become an official facilitator.
*Omega’s newest program, SATSANG, has a nominal cost associated with staying on-site at the Franciscan Renewal Center.
