Abstract. Selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors (SSRIs), a class of antidepressants, were found to increase central nervous system (CNS) metastasis in mice. Our study investigated in humans whether antidepressants, and specifically SSRIs, increased the relative odds of CNS metastasis.
